I just wanted to reach out and thank you all again for the experience you’ve created for us at Anderson’s. This was my third year back, and we’ve booked year four while checking out.

We had been all over the province, and into N/W Quebec before finally finding a place that actually delivers on what the staff, advertising and social media promote. It’s not “trophy fish”, it’s the entire experience!

I would think anyone would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Canada that gives you the opportunity to land a trophy fish, in a variety of species, every day you’re on the water. But, what truly makes those opportunities possible for us are your guides, and for our group, Zack has exceeded our expectations every day we’ve had with him.

From his great personality and energy level to his incredible knowledge of fish, their habits, and patterns, we have nothing but implicit trust with him. If it weren’t for outstanding staff like him, I’m not sure the experience would be close to the same, even if we still managed to achieve a Master Class fish. The trip wouldn’t be the same without him there.

That being said, we’ve had nothing but praise for all your staff and the dedication they have towards maintaining and exceeding the standards you all have set. All your staff are beyond helpful, and the Lodge, cabins – everything are always impeccably clean and maintained. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen busier dock-hands, but those guys are always flying around and keeping the boats up.

And finally, to you all. Thank you for everything. Life gets tough, work doesn’t go smoothly, and managing all sorts of personalities that walk through those doors daily isn’t easy. But, despite all of that, you all always make us feel welcome and that whatever question or request we have isn’t an inconvenience.

Originally, we came here to fish. Specifically, we wanted big fish…. big toothy fish. Now, that has become a bonus to what I believe we keep coming back for, and that’s the experience here. The staff, the lakes, wildlife/scenery, great food, clean & comfortable cabins…. sharing all that w/friends and welcoming an awesome guide into your group is what it’s all about. (Not in anyway diminishing from the incredible shore lunches or my two 43.5” pike which are un-freaking believable!!)

Thank you again and look forward to seeing you all again next September.
