Dear friends at Anderson’s Lodge,

Bill Vineyard and I were with you last week from June 27th until July 2nd. This email is a thank you note for taking great care of us. Your wait staff at the restaurant were very efficient for our breakfast and supper meals. With every meal our food was served hot to the table, with a good warm up of coffee in the morning too. Your cook(s) made great food each day. My favorite meal was the steak dinner, followed closely by the rib dinner. My favorite dessert was the Friday night apple cake. For breakfast I was split between the omelet, and the made to order eggs (I ordered over medium, and they arrived cooked perfectly both times).
While we didn’t meet the person taking care of the daily cabin cleaning, please let me share that the clean towels and beds being made daily were a nice treat.
Our guide for the week was Tim. He did a great job for us. He had us on good fishing spots every day, and every day his shore lunch was tasty. He took great care of us in the boat too. I have a bad habit of getting snagged, and he changed out my Walleye jig every time with a smile. You will find a picture of Tim and Bill attached with a nice fish that Tim caught. That spot on the lake provided the three of us with over 20 Walleyes that measured over 20 inches. That day was also my birthday and I enjoyed catching my largest ever Walleye, and largest ever Northern – a pair of nice presents for sure!
Once again, thank you for a fun week.
Warm regards,
