Now let’s talk about the real reason for taking a fishing vacation – FISH! For over 40 years, Anderson’s Lodge has been the ultimate Canadian fishing lodge for world class Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Muskie fishing trips. We offer a total of five species, not just the two or three that you find at other camps. To ensure your fishing experience is complete, we provide the options of fishing up to 9 lakes including the legendary Lac Seul. Planning on a day to day basis ensures your quality fishing experience for when you want to fish and for what species.
Take a look at the photo gallery from this past season and pay special attention to our list of names in the Sioux Lookout Master Angler Release Awards listing. Most areas don’t have a Master Angler Awards Program let alone pay their guests’ entry fee. Our Junior Angler Release Awards Program has become very popular for our guest 16 years and younger – it is a friendly fishing competition that provides for additional fun and education on the importance of fisheries conservation and management.
The Best Ontario Fishing Packages
Anderson’s Lodge provides for a variety of fishing vacation packages that will accommodate the novice and first time anglers to the fishing professional! Choose from our Deluxe American Plan Bowrider Package, American Plan Package #1, American Plan Package #2, Housekeeping Package or a 1st Class Fly-In Outpost vacation. Enjoy the convenience of reserving from 3 nights and 2 days of fishing through to 7 nights and 6 days of fishing, arriving and departing on your preferred day of the week!
Fly-In Outpost packages are also designed with convenience and flexibility in mind. Providing for trips 3 days to 7 days, flexible arrival and departure days along with new, top of the line equipment again provides for a first class fishing vacation.
A Great Dining Experience
For those that are reserving one of our three American Plan packages; be sure to check out our American Plan menu which shows you why your dining will be of the highest quality. Unlike other lodges there are no fixed meal times. You will dine in air-conditioned comfort each evening between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with no line up’s at a buffet of food that has been sitting for hours. At Anderson’s Lodge meals are prepared fresh to order each evening, served table side by a friendly, professional server. The packages we offer are about you, and what works best for your total vacation experience.
Fly-In Outpost guests are welcome to join us for a great dining experience at Foxy’s Dining Room prior to their departure to the outpost camp the next morning.
Our Fleet
If the best cabins are not enough to convince you, take a look at the equipment that is supplied in your package. We offer two types of boats from the main lodge; the first is a 16’ Lund with a new 25 h.p. Yamaha engine, or if you prefer more comfort and luxury, we offer you a custom-built 21’ Bowrider with a new 150 h.p. Yamaha engine and a new 9.9 h.p. Yamaha trolling engine. From the Fly-In Outpost camps – 16’ Lunds with new 25 h.p. Yamaha engines. Very few camps offer choices, not to mention new motors each year.

You breathe a satisfied sigh of relief as you settle into a place that feels like coming home! These first class cabins extend to our Fly-In Outpost operations as well. Tuktegweik Bay, Kakebeka Narrows, Tom’s Landing and Pickerel Narrows located on the northeast end of the legendary Lac Seul are new, state of the art facilities for Fly-Ins, providing some of the most appreciated comforts of home right in Mother Natures’ own back yard. Our fishing vacation packages will always be about providing our guests the best, most comfortable accommodations, regardless of the type of package you reserve.
Our Staff
Now really for the best reason you need to come to Anderson’s … It’s the people! The single most important asset of any operation is the people. In the past it has been said that all of the people in our operation have 4-wheel drive attitude, then a guest said “hey, wait a minute…staff at Anderson’s Lodge have an all-wheel drive attitude, there isn’t anything they can’t or won’t do to please a guest or to get the job done right”.

Never mind Sioux Lookout, probably the best guide staff in Northwestern Ontario. With all of these guys working together every day on these lakes, you want to bet they are going to put you on fish in a heart-beat – with a “let’s get it on” attitude!
