For over 40 years, attendance at sport shows has been an integral part of our marketing. Many of our existing guests we initially met through shows. Over the years, many of our guests like to visit with us at show time to make their reservations for the upcoming season. However, in the last six or more years some have been disappointed in not being able to book their trips at show time because the time frame they wanted was already filled. As a result, the majority of our guests have taken advantage of our priority reservation system by booking their next year’s trip as they leave camp each year, eliminating their need to take time out of their busy schedule to come to a sport show. This coupled with our 1-800-number and the Internet we find a lot of people book prior to shows to ensure they could secure the exact dates they want. Rather than risking the possibility of not getting their preferred dates if they waited until show time, they were guaranteed dates by booking before.

We anticipate 2017 to be a good year as previous guests and new interests are calling, already making reservations for next season. If you did not reserve dates upon departure this year, we would encourage you to contact us as soon as you know which dates will work for your party, so you are not disappointed when you contact us.

Everyone knows that regardless of the products they buy, part of the price paid for that product includes the cost involved in marketing it. It’s no different with us. Part of the cost of your fishing vacation is marketing. With this in mind and after analyzing our expenses this past season in all departments it has been realized that return on some expenses is not justified. At Anderson’s we have always prided ourselves in providing top-notch vacations while continually monitoring costs and in doing so, have kept our rate increases to a minimum. Value for money has always been predominately on our minds and we continually endeavor to look for as many ways possible to keep the price of your fishing package to a minimum.

The success of Anderson’s Lodge over the past years must also be attributed to the referrals made by existing customers. We thank each and every one of our guests who have made referrals on our behalf, and recognize that this too helps keep the marketing budget at a palatable margin.

We will be attending four sport shows this winter.  This will allow guests the opportunity to book this way should they choose. We recognize that not everyone has the flexibility in their schedules that allow them to plan very far in advance and welcome your desire to visit us in person over the winter.

How Do I Book?

For further information, or to make reservations, call us on our toll free number at 1-800-465-1098 and we will be happy to assist you in planning for your next vacation. Our professional management team is here to take your call 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have regarding travel, fishing information and prices. As well, we will be able to offer suggestions and work with you to make sure that your party is set up with the package that is right for you – let us take the worries out of planning for the best fishing action you will ever experience!

Opening day is Saturday May 20th, 2017 and we are open until the end of September for all fishing vacation packages. Call now to ensure the dates you want for the 2017 or 2018 season. When you call, please be sure to reserve the exact dates for the exact number of people attending, as you will be charged for the full time and service reserved.

Our deposit requirement is $300.00 per person, or 20% of the package amount to qualify for the HST rebate right at the front counter prior to departure (please refer to the paragraph below – “Eligibility of Harmonized Tax Rebate” for further details) . Deposits can be paid by calling with a Visa, Discover, or Master Card or by sending a cheque. Deposits are due two weeks after reservations have been made. Once we are in receipt of your deposit, you will be sent a letter confirming your reservations along with an additional information package with some “tips” for planning your trip. We are unable to hold reservations any longer than two weeks without deposit. Deposit refunds are available within 60 days of the time your deposit was paid.

Eligibility of Harmonized Tax Rebate

Under the new program, eligibility to receive a rebate on a portion of the Goods & Services Tax requires guests to have the services of a guide or aircraft transportation as part of their package. Should guests pay a 20% deposit of their package price prior to arrival, it enables us to deduct this rebate off of your bill at the time of departure. If you pay our required deposit of $300.00 per person (and it is not 20% of the package price) we will have upon check out, the necessary forms for you to apply for the rebate. Providing this information and assisting our guests in receiving their rebate on the spot, is just one of many services Anderson’s provides, ensuring that you are well taken care of!
